Patterson's - Review
4 Mill Street,
, W1 2AX

Modern british

Patterson's is a slick well run chic minimalist restaurant serving modern British cuisine. However first and foremost this is a family run restaurant and Patterson's manages to successfully balance this along with its sharp modern image. I have visited this restaurant two or three times and the menu has always been updated and always covers meat and fish options. The passion for food is evident by the menu descriptions with ingredients excitingly described and also caringly and well presented when served. The food is usually proudly sourced from the British Isles, Scottish fish, beef farmed in the Wye valley. Despite this the menu has a distinct French influence and character. Food and service at Patterson's is always good and although pricey l cannot fault the dining experience whenever l have eaten there. Sometimes the restaurant offers 30% and 40% discount deals based on three courses and it's worth enquiring at time of booking.

Zara

This reasonably priced unpretentious Turkish restaurant situated in the heart of Hampstead was recommended to me late one evening by a passenger in the cab returning home from the city. He pointed out that the food at Zara was of excellent quality and worth a visit.

Babylon

Originally the Derry and Tom department store building, Babylon is situated on the 7th floor of this imposing 1930's building overlooking the 6th floor roof gardens and with views stretching out over south and south west London.

Belvedere

The Belvedere restaurant is located in the middle of the beautiful Holland Park. The building dates back to the 17th century and was the summer ballroom of the mansion once Holland House.
